What is Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable gel that can be used to help restore volume in your skin. It’s made from biodegradable poly-L-lactic acid, which has been used in the body for decades and is one of the materials used to make dissolving sutures. Once injected, over time it works by stimulating collagen production in the skin and restoring some of the volumes that have been lost with age.

Where is it injected?

Our providers will inject it directly into areas where you need more volume or fewer wrinkles – such as your temples, jawline, or upper cheeks – and then massage it for the first few days after treatment so it settles nicely into place. Results

The treatment sessions are spaced 6-8 weeks apart, with results lasting up to 3 years. Results are gradual and depend on the severity of the size of the problem being addressed, and the level of improvement needed. The average amount of treatments needed is 3-4 sessions to reach the desired result.
